Inspired by the Gran Caffé’s of the 1950s in Italy, Sant Ambroeus Palm Beach is an Italian restaurant serving high-end Milanese cuisine and hospitality.
In addition to the fine dining experience, guests enjoy a bar, a café, and an Italian gelateria that serves one of the best gelatos on Palm Beach Island. Order a few scoops of their gelato (which is served with two delicious, fresh cookies), take a seat at the café, indoor or outdoor, and enjoy! What makes it special? Mary Lily’s honors Mary Lily Kenan, wife of The Breakers’ founder Henry Morrison Flagler. It is the only ice cream parlor at The Breakers Hotel, a must-see luxury oceanfront resort that attracted socially prominent families from America’s early 20th-century to Palm Beach, including the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, Astor and more.

Lily’s Ice Cream is a family-owned, hand-crafted ice cream shop that serves delicious ice cream flavors made only with the finest quality ingredients. Lily’s offers numerous classic flavors that remain a constant on the menu, including vegan, gluten-free, and no-added-sugar flavors, as well as fun flavors specifically created for holidays and special occasions. 7. La Michoacana Natural

The history of this unique ice cream parlor began in 1940 in the municipality of Tocumbo in the Mexican state of Michoacán. Throughout the years, La Michoacana expanded in the United States and today it has several stores all around Florida. Besides ice creams (“helados”), La Michoacana also serves “paletas” (popsicles) made with a base of milk or water, milkshakes, and fresh juices.

What makes it special? La Michoacana serves authentic Mexican ice cream flavors that are difficult to find somewhere else, including chongos, mamey, guanabana, queso (cheese), ron pasas (rum & raisin), and more. They also have classic flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, mango, vanilla, coconut, and lemon, but trying the queso flavor is definitely a must!

Piccolo Gelato is a hidden gem a few steps away from Worth Avenue. It serves hand-crafted, small-batch gelato and sorbetto made with fine ingredients sourced both locally and from around the world. Piccolo Gelato offers over twenty rotating flavors of gelato, including Italian classics such as hazelnut, tiramisu, Nutella, Stracciatella, pistachio, and chocolate. They also offer fresh fruity sorbetto flavors, including lemon, mango, peach, strawberry, and more. All sorbetto flavors are low-calorie and dairy-free!

What makes it special? Piccolo Gelato is nestled in the picturesque Via Mizner, a beautiful short via with Mediterranean architecture that was once home to famous architect Addison Mizner.

The Ice Cream Club is a manufacturer and distributor of premium parlor style ice cream, yogurt and related products. It all started in 1982 with a single ice cream shop located in Manalapan, a small town just a few miles south of Palm Beach. Still today, the retailer store in Manalapan offers locals and visitors a wide array of flavors including no sugar added flavors and reduced fat ice cream.

What makes it special? The Ice Cream Club in Manalapan is a 40-year-old store and the first location of what is today a large ice cream distributor throughout the U.S. and Caribbean Islands.
