Dr. Limon – Peruvian Restaurant

Owner and Chef: Carlos Brescia.
Named after the key ingredient of ceviche, Limón (“lime” in Spanish), this restaurant serves up Peruvian specialties with a South Florida twist. Visit the location on Clematis Street and get your ceviche, sushi and seafood prepared fresh.
Must-try: the Psiquiatra, an amazing three-layers ceviche.

Rivales Taqueria – Mexican Cantina

Co-owners and brothers: Jimmy Rivas and Alberto Valdivia.
Located just steps away from Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach, this Mexican restaurant serves fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine in a colorful environment with a mural and a graffiti wall. Rivales Taqueria uses only local produce and organic non-gmo, non- hormone and preservative free meats. 
Must-try: the ceviche tacos prepared with fresh fish cured in lime juice!

Don Ramon – Cuban restaurant

Owners: Dina and Juan Rubio.
This popular Cuban restaurant first opened its door in 1990, becoming one of the pioneers to introduce Cuban cuisine to the West Palm Beach area. Don Ramon is owned and operated by the Rubio family, who provide guests a true Cuban experience from great ambiance to cultural events, friendly customer service, live music, and authentic Cuban fare. 
Must-try: the ropa vieja and the zarzuela de marisco.

Salento Coffee – Colombian Coffee House

Owners: Jaime and Johana Lara.
Opened by Jamie and Johana Lara, Salento Coffee is an authentic Colombian cafe that serves coffee made with the best beans from Colombia. The coffee house was recently moved to a new, bigger location on Clematis Street, right next to the library. Besides coffee, you’ll also find a breakfast menu with Colombian and classic specialties.
Must-try: the Cerrerito, a Colombian espresso sweetened with scrapings from an unrefined sugar cane block then whisked into an amber colored syrup.

La Cabana Latin Grill – Mexican and Cuban Restaurant

Opened in 2018, La Cabana is a family-owned business that serves a variety of Latin food, from tacos to Cuban sandwiches. Enjoy delicious food and drinks with reasonable prices and a family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.
Must-try: the birria quesa tacos served in a fried crispy shell loaded with either fresh shredded chicken or beef and melted cheese. The dipping sauce on the side adds a layer of immense flavor.

Cielito Artisan Pops – Popsicle Shop

Owner: Sindy Posso. 
This colorful Colombian-owned popsicle shop sells the most delicious and instagrammable popsicles in The Palm Beaches. You can choose between a variety of flavors, from fruity sorbets to ice-cream pops to vegan ice-cream pops. Once you chose your flavor, cover your popsicle with chocolate and a variety of toppings. And if your furry friend is with you, treat him with a doggy pop!
Must-try: the Matcha Latte (covered with dark chocolate and decorated with coconut flakes), or the refreshing Kiwi Raspberry.

Copacabana Cuban Cuisine – Cuban Restaurant

Owners: Gustavo Garcia and Marion Van Den Berg.
Owned by Gustavo, who was born in Cuba, and his wife, Marion, this family-owned and operated restaurant has called Downtown Abacoa home since 2012. Copacabana offers authentic Cuban food, Mojitos made from scratch, and live music Thursday through Saturday. Thursday night is usually jazz and blues, while Friday and Saturday nights are always Latin music.
Must-try: the churrasco, or the Cuban favorite Ropa Vieja.

Havana Restaurant – Cuban Restaurant 

Owners: The Reyes Family (Martha, Rafael, and Vanessa).
This staple Cuban restaurant was opened more than 25 years ago by Roberto Reyes. Today, his daughter Martha, her husband Rafael and Reyes’ granddaughter Vanessa run the iconic restaurant. Among its many accolades, the restaurant’s Cuban sandwich was rated one of the top 10 in Florida by USA Today. Well-known celebrities like Sofia Vergara, Martha Stewart and others have been known to dine at Havana. In addition to serving tasty food, the Reyes family has been known to give back to the community. This is a wonderful place and local treasure.
Must-try: the Sandwich Cubano, obviously.

Mestizo Fusion Cuisine – Peruvian Restaurant

Owners: Misleidy Amores and Pedro Rivera. 
In January 2019, wife and husband duo Misleidy Amores and Pedro Rivera opened Mestizo Fusion Cuisine in the Northwood district. Misleidy, who is Cuban, and Pedro, who is Peruvian, bring together a great blend of flavors and present their dishes exquisitely. Among other dishes, this Peruvian restaurant offers a comprehensive vegan menu with all the yummy fixings.
Must-try: the mixed seafood ceviche, the lomo saltado, the yuquitas Mestizo, and the wide variety of vegan dishes such as vegan tamales and ceviches.

Sabor Latino Restaurant – Latin Restaurant

Owner: Edgar Perez.
Sabor Latino Restaurant is owned by Edgar Perez, a Guatemalan-born immigrant who arrived in the US at the age of 14. Sabor offers several Latin specialties, with dishes ranging from Colombian arepas and Cuban ropa vieja to Mexican burritos to Peruvian ceviche. In addition to the diverse food, Sabor Latino Restaurant is known for its generous, warm and homey hospitality.
Must-try: the Mofongo Latino, a plantains-based dish served with Jumbo shrimps and a special homemade sauce.

Tropical Bakery & Restaurant – Cuban Bakery and Restaurant

Tropical Bakery & Restaurant is a popular mom-and-pop shop serving Cuban cuisine. The owners’ grandfather Armando came from Cuba and opened this restaurant in 1989. Tropical Bakery & Restaurant is known for Cuban coffee, fresh pastries, and other Cuban specialties. Plan to carry cash when you visit as Tropical Bakery & Restaurant does not accept credit cards.
Must-try: the cortadito, the croquettes, and the pastelitos de guava.

Andalucía Tapas Bar & Restaurant – Spanish Restaurant

Owners: Carlos Mendez and family. 
Andalucía Tapas Bar & Restaurant is owned by Carlos Mendez along with his family. This restaurant offers an authentic and delectable Spanish tapas experience. You might try their ham croquettes, grilled chorizo with onions or beef empanadas. You truly cannot go wrong with this wide array of food choices. Tacos Al Carbon – Mexican Taqueria

This popular Mexican restaurant serves a wide variety of amazing Mexican food, but its main specialty is its delicious tacos.
