Community Foundation’s Grantmaking Cycle Begins

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is kicking off of its 2024 competitive Community Impact grantmaking cycle. Nonprofits throughout Palm Beach County and Martin County are welcome to submit letters of intent from December 1 through January 5. Those interested in learning more about the process can attend grant-seeker sessions on December 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13.

The Community Foundation will maximize grantmaking across the Community Foundation’s priority areas, which include Economic Opportunity, Education and Youth, and Thriving Communities.

Nonprofit leaders and members of the community can learn more about the grantmaking submission process at grant-seeker sessions at the Delray Beach Public Library on December 5; the Children’s Services Council of Martin County in Stuart on December 6; the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach on December 11; and the Student ACES Center in Belle Glade on December 13. A virtual session will take place on December 12.

The Community Foundation’s competitive grantmaking aligns the recipients’ work with the Community Foundation’s mission, vision, and values. The process ensures that donors’ support is directed to local nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated high standards of integrity and impact.

In 2023, the Community Foundation awarded 116 grants to nonprofit agencies throughout Palm Beach County and Martin County, totaling $4,347,253. For a full list of 2023 grant recipients, please click here.
