The splendor of France’s flora will be on view in “Isabelle de Ganay,” an exhibition of the renowned French impressionist and en plein air painter’s works at Findlay Galleries on Palm Beach. Regarded as one of the preeminent plein air painters of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, de Ganay has honed her craft by painting outside in all conditions.
This practice has enabled her to fully study and embody the dynamism of the natural world, from changes in the atmosphere to fluctuations in light. What results are whimsical, masterful, colorful captures of ephemeral moments. The exhibition is on view November 25 to December 14.
