Gavlak Gallery

Sarah Gavlak’s eponymous gallery specializes in contemporary art, with a strong representation of women and LGBTQ+ artists. From November 22 to December 17, the gallery will exhibit works by Andrew Brischler, a New York–based artist who seeks to express his queer identity through the lens of popular culture. This show will include his monochromatic, pixelated portraits of female movie stars in their most memorable roles, such as Michelle Pfeiffer as Elvira Hancock in Scarface.

As the second outpost of this Florida-based boutique, Marissa Collections at The Royal upholds a legacy of style nearly 50 years in the making. Stop by to peruse an array of designer goods—from Brunello Cucinelli cardigans to Chloé sneakers and Dolce & Gabbana crossbody bags—plus fine jewelry by brands such as Brent Neale (pictured), Kwiat, Assael, and many more. If you’re feeling daring, schedule a piercing and add an extra diamond or two.

Are you in need of the curtain bangs or strawberry-blonde hair of your dreams? Look no further than Paul Labrecque Salon, which operates its third U.S. location at The Royal. In addition to cuts and colors, the salon also offers massage, skin, nail, wax, and makeup services.

Stoney Clover Lane

This colorful spot screams Palm Beach. Founded by sisters and Palm Beach natives Kendall and Libby Glazer, Stoney Clover Lane specializes in personalized items perfect for both the jet-set glitterati and fashionable co-eds. Think: totes, backpacks, pouches, wallets, hats, and more. Don’t sleep on their limited-edition colors and Disney collections. 

Palm Beach Bicycle Trail Shop

An institution for more than 40 years, this full-service bike shop has everything you’ll need to tackle the nearby Lake Trail, including sales, rentals, and repairs. The shop carries beach cruisers, mountain bikes, and e-bikes, as well as specialty bikes with training wheels, infant seats, and beyond.

The Royal can satisfy cravings from morning to night. Start your day at Celis Juice Bar for an acai bowl, an egg sammy with avocado, or a Palm Breezy smoothie. After some shopping, stop into Toojay’s for a tuna melt and other deli favorites. For dinner, savor the slow-roasted pork ribs or a rustic roast chicken at the Palm Beach Grill, followed by tiramisu and espresso at Sant Ambroeus.
