Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County will host its annual Women Build fundraiser in partnership with Habitat families in Lake Worth Beach March 14-15.
The annual event supports Habitat’s affordable home-building efforts and empowers women across Palm Beach County. Participants will build a home for a deserving homeowner alongside Habitat partner families, corporate sponsors, and community members.
The land for the 2024 Women Build home was donated by the Lake Worth Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). Together, the CRA and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County have built and/or financed more than 45 affordable homes in the city.
To participate in Women Build 2024, supporters can select a half-day shift on March 14 or 15, build solo or in a team, and fundraise or donate $1,250 per person. No construction experience is necessary to participate. Interested participants are encouraged to act quickly. To learn more about Women Build, visit habitatgreaterpbc.org/women-build.
