The TimberTech Championship, Boca Raton

Date & Time: October 30 – November 5, from 7 am.

The TimberTech Championship brings together golfing legends and past acclaimed players for an exciting event. This year, the tournament takes place at the Broken Sound Club’s Old Course.

As part of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, the TimberTech Championship attracts the top 54 players in the 50-and-older circuit. Beyond being a spectator event, it also includes men and women’s Pro-Am tournaments, putting contests, and clinics. Spectators can enjoy the action from skyboxes and preferred seating.

The Rise and Fall of the Berlin Wall Anniversary, West Palm Beach

Date & Time:November 3, 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm.

With the rise of the Berlin Wall in 1961, the course of Germany’s and especially of Berlin’s history took a tragic turn. It would take 28 years for this cruel and inhuman symbol of Germany’s division to come down, thus giving birth to yet another period in this European nation’s remarkable evolution. Join historian and ex-Berliner Anette Isaacs, M.A., as she presents you with a historical and political overview of this painful but also almost miraculous phase in Berlin’s intriguing history. Opening Reception for Grand Exhibition Endless Summer: Palm Beach Resort Wear, West Palm Beach

The Historical Society of Palm Beach County is excited to announce the opening date for the most exciting fashion event this November: “Endless Summer: Palm Beach Resort Wear.” The Opening Reception will be held at The Richard & Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum on November 8. Disney Pixar’s Coco Live-To-Film Concert, West Palm Beach

Date & Time: November 22, 6:30 pm.
Experience the magic of Disney Pixar’s Coco like never before at the Live-to-Film Concert on November 22, 2023, at 6:30 PM. Presented by AMP, this event offers a unique cinematic and musical experience.

The concert features a screening of the complete film, with the Oscar and Grammy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s musical score performed by the 20-member Orquesta Folclorico Nacional de Mexico. Alongside Giacchino’s original score, the film showcases the Oscar Award-winning song “Remember Me” by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, as well as additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco and co-director/screenwriter Adrian Molina.

The movie itself follows the story of Miguel, a young boy who dreams of becoming a musician despite his family’s longstanding ban on music. His journey takes him to the Land of the Dead, where he unravels the secrets of his family’s history with the help of the charming trickster, Héctor. Directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina, Disney and Pixar’s “Coco” is a vibrant and heartwarming tale of family and music.

Join Sandi, the world’s only 700-ton holiday sand tree, and her cast of characters as Mayor James and the City of West Palm Beach officially welcome the return of Holiday in Paradise. The evening will include FREE entertainment, including live music, games, a holiday shopping bazaar in the Lake Pavilion, photos with Santa, and much more.

The featured band for the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting is The Music Machine.
