Growing up in the car world, J.R. Amantea experienced his first car show at 2 years old. At 6, he started judging classic Corvettes with his dad with National Corvette Restorer Society (NCRS). He became the youngest judge at age 13 and two years later the youngest judge at Bloomington Gold. This lifetime of meticulous learning coupled with
the detailed judging and restoration process set the foundation for his own company, GT Motor Cars. Pursuing his passion, J.R. left the world of finance, bringing a multidimensional level of expertise into managing and advising on some of the most sought-after, investment-grade cars in the world.
